In a refrigeration cycle device utilizing an existing refrigerant pipe in replacing a first heat source-side unit and a first use-side unit using a first refrigerant and a first refrigerating machine oil, with a second heat source-side unit and a second use-side unit utilizing a second refrigerant and a second refrigerating machine oil, a compressor, a heat source-side heat exchanger and a first expanding device disposed in the second heat source-side unit, and a second expanding device and a use-side heat exchanger disposed in the second use-side unit are connected by the existing refrigerant pipe, and an impurity capturing device including a capturing container accommodating an impurity capturing material, and a bypass pipe bypassing the capturing container, is disposed in the refrigerant pipe between the first expanding device and the second expanding device.
