Abstract:
A hydrocarbon refrigerant can be easily dissolved in a refrigerator oil and, as a result, the viscosity of the refrigerator oil is likely to be decreased to cause the undue wear of a sliding member in a compressor. An air conditioning apparatus (1) is provided with a refrigerant circuit (10) in which a compressor (11), an outdoor heat exchanger (13), an expansion valve (9) and an indoor heat exchanger (18) are connected in this order and through which a refrigerant circulates. The compressor (11) has a sliding member that includes a first bearing metal (26) or an oldham ring (25). In the sliding member, at least one of two members that slide on each other is formed from aluminum or an aluminum alloy. The refrigerant that circulates through the refrigerant circuit (10) is a hydrocarbon refrigerant. A refrigerator oil to be used in the compressor (11) has a refrigerant solubility of 30% or less when measured under a pressure of 1.9 MPa and at a temperature of 60°C.
