Abstract:
A refrigeration cycle apparatus (110) includes a flow path switching apparatus (7). In a first operation mode, the flow path switching apparatus (7) is configured to cause a second port (P2) and a second refrigerant port (5b) of a second heat exchanger (5) to communicate with a suction port (g) of a compressor (1) via a four-way valve (2). In a second operation mode, the flow path switching apparatus (7) is configured to cause the second port (P2) to communicate with the second refrigerant port (5b) of the second heat exchanger (5) without the second port (P2) and the second refrigerant port (5b) of the second heat exchanger (5) communicating with the suction port (g) of the compressor (1), and cause a discharge port (a) of the compressor (1) to communicate with a first refrigerant port (5a) of the second heat exchanger (5) via the four-way valve (2).
