Abstract:
To improve detection accuracy of a gas refrigerant flowing in an oil return pipe connected to an oil separator in a freezing apparatus.SOLUTION: A compressor unit (20) of a refrigerant circuit (15) comprises a compressor (30), an oil separator (40), an oil returning pipe (45), an oil returning valve (46), and a discharge temperature sensor (50). A freezing apparatus (10) comprises a controller (60). The controller (60) performs a detection operation. The detection operation is an operation for reducing an opening of the oil returning valve (46), and detecting that a gas refrigerant is flowing in the oil returning pipe (45) on the basis of change of a measurement value of the discharge temperature sensor (50) after the opening of the oil returning valve (46) is reduced, with respect to the measurement value of the discharge temperature sensor (50) before the opening of the oil returning valve (46) is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
