To increase the amount of refrigerant capable of being supplied from a refrigerant adjustment tank 35 to a compressor 30, and to improve performance for adjusting balance between the amount of refrigerant passing through the compressor 30 and the amount of refrigerant passing through the expander 31, in a refrigerating device 20 comprising a refrigerant circuit 10 provided with the expander 31 for recovering power.
Low pressure-side expanding mechanisms 43, 51 for further reducing a pressure of the refrigerant of which the pressure has been reduced by the expander 31, is disposed on the way of a refrigerant circulating passage from the expander 31 to an evaporator in the refrigerant circuit 10. A refrigerant adjusting tank 35 for adjusting the amount of refrigerant circulated in the refrigerant circuit 10 is disposed on the way of the refrigerant circulating passage from the expander 31 to the low pressure-side expanding mechanisms 43, 51 in the refrigerant circuit 10.
