Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect mechanical vibration in a device having a shaft driven with an electric motor.
SOLUTION: Current flowing in a compressor 22 is monitored with a current sensor 40 arranged in at least one line of power lines connected to the compressor of a refrigeration transport system. When the compressor 22 vibrates, stress is applied to a shaft 48 of the motor of the compressor 22, and current flowing in the compressor is increased. A current value detected with the current sensor 40 is received with a controller 46. When the current value 40 exceeding a threshold value is detected with the current sensor 40, the generation of excess vibration inside the compressor 22 is displayed with a controller.
