The refrigeration unit for a container comprises a partition wall 102 for demarcating a storing space for cargoes, inside the container, an inlet opening 111 formed between the partition wall 102 and a ceiling of the container and communicating with the storing space, the evaporator fan 8 provided between the partition wall 102 and a wall portion 100a of the container for sucking air from the accommodation space through the inlet opening 111, and the evaporator for cooling the air supplied by the evaporator fan 8. In the refrigeration unit, a first curved portion 15 convexly projecting toward the evaporator fan 8 and a second curved portion 16 convexly projecting toward the accommodation space are formed on an upper end of the partition wall 102.
