Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of satisfactorily taking an image of a food item in a stockroom and easily discriminating the food item from outside.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a control section 59 for controlling an imaging device taking images of a storage chamber, and a lighting system provided in the storage chamber and lighting an inside of the storage chamber is commonly used at normal use time on the basis of door open and close detection means and at image taking time by the imaging device. Illuminance in the storage chamber is set lower at the image taking time than at the normal use time. The influence of reflection light from an inner surface of a stockroom can be greatly reduced, and clear images can be taken while the lighting system can be commonly used. Accordingly, a food item in the stockroom can be easily discriminated from outside, and a user-friendly refrigerator can be provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
