The decorative plate 16 is arranged vertically in a position partially leaving the door facing material 11 in the vicinity of the left end surface opposite to a hinge part in the transverse direction of the door facing material 11, a base handle 14 having a handle function for fitting and fixing the decorative plate 16 is arranged on the back surface of the decorative plate 16 so that the upper and lower ends of the decorative plate 16 can be located to an upper cap door 12 and a lower cap door 13 at the vertical ends of a cooling chamber door 10, so that the decorative plate 16 and the base handle 14 are arranged to the vertical end surfaces of the cooling chamber door 10. Therefore, a sense of unity of the decorative plate 16 with the upper cap door 12 and the lower cap door 13 can be provided in the door body vertically having the decorative plate, and a refrigerator door with smart design property can be provided.
