Title:
REFRIGERATOR HAVING FREEZER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1169856
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable power-saving and re-starting, and to eliminate the thermal effect, by using an induction motor on a compressor, to control the opening/ closing of a relay connected in series to a positive characteristic thermister which is connected in series to an auxiliary winding, and providing a relay substrate and a control substrate in a machine room to accommodate the compressor and in an outdoor control box, respectively.

The other end of a main winding 22 is connected to another pole side of a power source 26 through an overload relay 25 for overload protection, the other end of an auxiliary winding 23 is connected to a series connection body of a PTC 27 and a PTC relay 28, and then, connected to the power source 26 through the overload relay 25 similar to the other end side of the main winding 22. A driver 38 and a microcomputer 34 to drive the PTC relay 28 mounted on a relay substrate 30, a compressor relay 24, and a driver 37 are provided on a control substrate 29. The microcomputer 34 outputs the compressor control signal S1 to the driver 37 to control the compressor relay 24, and the PTC relay 28 is controlled by the PTC control signal S2. The thermal effect can be reduced by providing the control substrate in a control box separately from a machine room.
