Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator capable of freezing and thawing a surface of a food product in a simple way, to reduce bacteria adhering to the surface of the food product, to thereby improve storage property of the food product, and a refrigerator temperature control method.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 comprises a changeover chamber 200 where objects to be cooled, a cooler 3 configured to cool the inside of the changeover chamber 200, and a controller 8 configured to control the cooler 3. The controller 8 causes the cooler 3 to repeatedly execute freezing and thawing processing containing a freezing step of freezing the surface of the object to be cooled, and a thawing step of thawing the surface of the object to be cooled having been frozen in the freezing step, and then execute a maintenance step of keeping a temperature of the changeover chamber 200 constant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
