Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator and a refrigerator system designed so as to change a position of a camera as desired.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a camera 38 imaging an interior of a stockroom of a refrigerator body; a wireless device 39 wirelessly transmitting an image picked up by the camera; a power supply unit 42 driving the camera and the wireless device; and a wireless repeater 36 for transmitting image data from the wireless device to a public communication network 56. The camera, the wireless device and the power supply unit are constituted as an imaging unit 35. The imaging unit is configured independently of the refrigerator body and a heat insulation door. The wireless repeater is configured to be provided either on the refrigerator body or the heat insulation door. The imaging unit independent of the refrigerator body and the heat insulation door can be thereby installed at a location in the stockroom as user's desired, and communication between the wireless device of the imaging unit and the public communication network can be appropriately established with the wireless repeater repeating the communication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
