PURPOSE: To use a blower for a cooler also as a blower for an ozone generator and increase the deodorizing function of the ozone generator by providing the ozone generator and an ozone decomposition device in an air circulating passage.
CONSTITUTION: An ozone generator 31 is provided near the inlet port 36 of an electric blower 16. An ozone decomposition device 35 is provided between the ozone generator 31 and the inlet port 36 of the blower 16. The exhaust port 34 of the ozone generator is opposed to the ozone decomposition device 35. Upon cooling operation, a refrigerant circulates in a compressor 11 and a cooler 14 to form a cooling cycle. Cold air cooled by the cooler 14 is supplied respectively to an upper storage chamber 6 and a lower storage chamber 7 through a first air circulating passage and a second air circulating passage 18. During this cooling operation, the cold air is restricted in the air circulating passages 17 and 18 and supplied to the ozone generator 31 with high air velocity in the vicinity of the inlet port 36 of the electric blower. Thus, the quantity of air interchanging with the ozone generator 31 within prescribed time is increased with efficient deodorization.
