Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damage to a refrigerator, and to provide safety and convenience for a user.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 90 includes a refrigerant circuit 80 having a utilization unit 20. The utilization unit 20 includes a heat exchanger 22, a first refrigerant pipe 71 and a second refrigerant pipe 72 connected to the heat exchanger 22, and a first shutoff valve 51 and a second shutoff valve 52 respectively provided in the first refrigerant pipe 71 and the second refrigerant pipe 72 and having adjustable openings. The refrigerator 90 includes a refrigerant leakage detecting section 26, a refrigerant pressure acquiring section 27, and a control section 25 for adjusting the openings of the first shutoff valve 51 and the second shutoff valve 52. In a warning state in which both of the first shutoff valve 51 and the second shutoff valve 52 are closed and the refrigerant leakage detecting section 26 detects leakage, the control section 25 adjusts at least one of the openings of the first shutoff valve 51 and the second shutoff valve 52 to an open direction when a pressure of a refrigerant is higher than a prescribed threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
