To provide a refrigerator with a defrosting control device adapted to adjust defrosting start time and defrosting heater current-carrying time in defrosting according to the operation state of a compressor involved by fluctuation of internal loads.
This refrigerator comprises a lowest defrosting operation time correction means 21, a defrosting end time correction means 22 and a defrosting end temperature correction means 23. According to such a structure, even if the compressor is set to operation for high load because the internal temperature is raised by change in replacement state of the internal load, operated at high rotation, and the frost formation amount to an evaporator is larger than in general, defrosting can be started earlier than general defrosting start time, and the defrosting time during defrosting control can be controlled. Therefore, the residual frost in a cooler can be reduced.
