To provide a refrigerator easy in analyzing a broken portion, and capable of specifying the broken portion by providing an analysis mode in the refrigerator, and using a signal measurable even by a portable type simplified measuring apparatus.
The refrigerator is provided with a control board 2, a compressor controlled by the control board, and a control apparatus such as a damper. It has a mode changing means 13 for carrying out change between a normal operation mode and a failure analysis mode. It is composed such that, in the failure analysis mode, a control signal 11 can be changed to a second control signal measurable by the portable type simplified measuring apparatus such as a tester instead of a first control signal controlling the control apparatus during the normal operation mode. The control signal 11 is a pulse signal, and it can be changed to a pulse signal having a time interval of a degree measurable by the portable type simplified measuring apparatus during the failure analysis mode. In the failure analysis mode, transition to the normal operation mode is automatically carried out after passage of a predetermined time after starting the failure analysis mode.
