Abstract:
To prevent a fall of a refrigerator having a compressor on its upper back face.
This refrigerator has a housing main body 101 provided with a storage compartment 104 having a door 120 on its front surface, a recessed portion 152 recessed on an uppermost storage space 164 side in the storage compartment 104, is formed over a top face 148 and a back face 150 of the housing main body 101, and the compressor 140 having a block 252 made of aluminum alloy is placed in the recessed portion 152. The center of gravity of the refrigerator as a whole can be lowered by reducing the weight of the compressor 140, and the fall of the refrigerator can be prevented.
