To provide a refrigerator improving ion generation efficiency while supplying ions uniformly into a storage chamber.
The refrigerator includes the storage chamber 2 storing stored food; a cooler 11 generating cold air; a cold air passage 32 supplying the cold air generated in the cooler 11, to the storage chamber 2 through discharge ports 73a-73d, 74a-74d, 84; a blower 23 guiding the cold air to the cold air passage 32; and an ion generator 86 disposed in the cold air passage 32 to generate ions. The cold air passage 32 has a widened part 32f widened over the right and left sides of the storage chamber 2 downstream of the blower 23, and the ion generator 86 is disposed at the widened part 32f. A discharge port 84 downstream of the ion generator 86 is provided over the right and left sides.
