The refrigerator includes check valves 25, 31, 32 and 33 opening and closing a water supply passage between the water supply port 14a and the water intake port 30a, a recessed portion 14b provided on the bottom surface of the water tank 13 in a recessed manner to open the water supply port 14a, and a filtering member 20 detachably suitable for the recessed portion 14b and having a mesh-like mesh portion 20a.
