To achieve common use of a component for preventing warm air from flowing into a storage chamber during defrosting, to facilitate air passage designing, to surely prevent defrosted warm air from leaking, and to improve cooling efficiency by reducing the pressure loss of the cooling air passage.
A movable air supply hood 29 is disposed at the outside of a delivery opening portion 13a of a cooling chamber 13, and the air supply hood (29) is used to block the delivery opening portion 13a during defrosting, so as to prevent hot air from flowing into a cooling air passage 14 during defrosting. Thus, a common air supply hood 29 can be employed also in refrigerators of other types, and designing of a cooling air passage is facilitated. Since a pressure loss in the opened state of the air supply hood 29 is small, cooling efficiency is improved.
