Abstract:

To provide a refrigerator that has present components replaced with inexpensive materials and maintains the quality and reliability of a joint portion between a copper-made dryer and an aluminum-made capillary tube to totally bear comparison with a present product within an allowable range in terms of quality and performance, and is greatly reduce in cost.

There is provided a refrigerator that has a freezing cycle configured to circulate a refrigerant discharged from a compressor to a condenser, a dryer, a capillary tube, an evaporator, a suction pipe, and a compressor in order, wherein the heat exchanger for heat exchange with the refrigerator is constituted by joining the aluminum-made suction pipe and aluminum-made capillary tube are joined together in a fused state over a prescribed distance except both ends, the copper-made dryer and aluminum capillary tube are joined together using fluoride-based flux containing heavy metal and an Al-Si-based brazing material, and the joined portion is covered with a thermosetting adhesive.
