Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator to the surface of a door of which a glass plate is fitted to be improved in aesthetic visibility.SOLUTION: A front surface of a right door 3b of a refrigeration chamber 3 of a refrigerator 1, for example, is entirely covered with a glass plate 21. Left, right, top and bottom four door caps 31, 33, 35, 37 are fitted to the outer peripheral end parts of the four sides of the right door 3b. The left-side door cap 35 as a decorative part of the glass plate 21 located inside supports a side surface 52 of the glass plate 21 while exposed. The side surface 52 of the glass plate 21 includes an R surface 51, or cut surfaces 71, 72 slanted at an angle other than 45 degrees.
