Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of keeping freshness of vegetables by keeping a lower vegetable compartment under high humidity.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a storage compartment 6 opened at a front face, a lower storage case 6b supported movably in a longitudinal direction in the storage compartment 6, a partition 74 detachably disposed in the lower storage case 6b and partitioning the lower storage case 6b into a front area and a rear area, an upper storage case 6c placed on an upper portion of the lower storage case 6b and movable in the longitudinal direction, first engagement means 83 disposed in the upper storage case 6c, and second engagement means 75 disposed at an upper portion of the partition 74. The first engagement means 83 is movable in directions to approach and separate from the second engagement means 75, and the upper storage case 6c is fixed to the partition 75 by engaging the first engagement means 83 with the second engagement means 75 at a prescribed position by moving the upper storage case 6c forward from a state that it is positioned at a rear part with respect to the lower storage case 6b.
