Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy saving type refrigerator which can surely prevent dew condensation with small energy consumption and which has high reliability.SOLUTION: In a refrigerator, a control unit 24 controls a dew condensation prevention heater 17 on the basis of output from an outside air temperature sensor 18 and an outside air humidity sensor 20 provided at different places of a refrigerator body. In the vicinity of the outside air humidity sensor 20, a temperature sensor 23 for detecting the temperature in the vicinity of the outside air humidity sensor is provided separately from the outside air temperature sensor, and the control unit 24 controls the dew condensation prevention heater on the basis of the output of the outside air humidity sensor corrected by the temperature sensor in the vicinity of the outside air humidity sensor and the output from the outside air temperature sensor. Thereby, control of the dew-proofing means can be performed with good accuracy, and dew condensation prevention becomes secure, and at the same time, wasteful consumption of energy by conducting electricity to the dew-proofing means when dew condensation is not likely to occur can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
