Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with high usability and reliability in which lighting of a lighting device in a low temperature storage chamber can be recognized surely, and also, in which a failure due to liquid spill does not occur.SOLUTION: A refrigerator is configured in such a manner that a lighting device 33 is provided at a front end portion of a cover 24 which becomes a ceiling of a low temperature storage chamber 23, an upper part of the lighting device is covered by the front end portion of the cover 24, and a draining piece 38 for covering the front part of the lighting device is provided at the front part of the front end portion. Thereby, the lighting device 33 of the low temperature storage chamber 23 lights at a front end of the cover 24, the lighting can be recognized surely, and also, even when a liquid spills from a food container and the like placed on the cover 24 and outflows to the front end of the cover 24, the liquid drips downward by the draining piece 38, so that a failure caused by the liquid entering the lighting device portion can be prevented from occurring.
