Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of reducing the power consumption of a lighting tool for lighting up a content indicating a state of the refrigerator, and reducing the power consumption of the refrigerator.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 comprises: a main body 1A; a door 7 (8) that can open/close a front opening part of the main body 1A; an operation unit 15 having an LED 35 that is a lighting tool lighting up and thereby displaying a content indicating a state of the main body 1A; an illuminance sensor 40 detecting the brightness of a periphery of the main body 1A; and a control unit 100 which controls the luminance of the lighting tool on the basis of a signal obtained by the illuminance sensor 40, and reducing the luminance of the lighting tool when the brightness of the periphery falls.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
