Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator that comprises a front plate such as a glass plate in a door, and in which a human sensor can be installed without impairing the appearance design of the refrigerator.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 comprises a body 1A, and a door 8 that can open/close a storage chamber of the body 1A. An optically transparent front plate is arranged on the front of the door 8. An infrared type human sensor 80 for detecting the presence or absence of a person is arranged on the back of the front plate of the door 8. For example, the infrared type human sensor 80 comprises a light emitting part for generating infrared rays, and a light receiving part for receiving the infrared rays reflected and returned from the person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
