PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new refrigerator that has a simple device configuration and prevents large electric power consumption.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: a refrigerator body having a space enabling articles to be accommodated; a first device that has a first reaction chamber accommodating a first heat storage medium, a first condensation/evaporation chamber for condensing/evaporating a first condensible component and a first communication section for communicating the chambers with each other and is operated in a first operation mode of making the first condensation/evaporation chamber exhibit a cooling function and in a first regeneration mode of supplying heat to the first reaction chamber; and a second device that has a second reaction chamber accommodating a second heat storage medium, a second condensation/evaporation chamber for condensing/evaporating a second condensible component and a second communication section for communicating the chambers with each other and is operated in a second operation mode of making the second condensation/evaporation chamber exhibit a cooling function and in a second regeneration mode of supplying heat the second reaction chamber. While the first device is operated in the first operation mode, the second device is operated in the second regeneration mode while thermally separated from the space of the refrigerator body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
