Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sufficient opening area of a ventilation hole formed for a machine room and secure high cooling performance.SOLUTION: A refrigerator of an embodiment includes: a machine room provided at a refrigerator body; a rectangular opening formed at a side plate forming a side wall surface of the machine room; a side plate cover which is attached to the side plate so as to close the opening, has ventilation holes, and is made of a synthetic resin; a flange part which is integrally provided with the side plate cover and arranged so as to enclose a periphery part of the opening; and a protruding part which is provided on a rear surface side of the flange part of the side plate cover and contacts with an outer surface of the slide plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
