Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of supplying and exhausting air favorably even when installed with a back surface portion of the refrigerator being close to a wall surface.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a refrigerator body 1 including a plurality of storage chambers and a lower machine chamber 22 provided at a lower part of the refrigerator body 1, and at back surface both side portions of the lower machine chamber 22, an intake port and an exhaust port are provided separately. The intake port 44 and the exhaust port 45 provided at both side portions of the lower machine chamber 22 have a dent part 46 dented to the front side from the back surface of the refrigerator body 1, and on the side part of the refrigerator body 1, a recess 48 is provided connected to the intake port 44 and the exhaust port 45 via the dent part 46. The intake port 44 and the exhaust port 45 can take in and exhaust air via the recess 48 provided at the side plate portion of the refrigerator body 1. Thus, favorable air supply/exhaust is possible even when the back surface portion of the refrigerator body 1 is installed close to a wall surface, and defrosting water in an evaporation dish installed in the lower machine chamber can be efficiently evaporated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
