Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of detecting the storage amount in the storage room and of appropriately controlling the refrigeration based on the storage amount in the storage room.SOLUTION: There is provided a refrigerator comprising an LED lighting device 80 and a cold room optical sensor 81, which detects a change of storage amount in the cold room between the previous time and the present time with the LED lighting device 80 and the cold room optical sensor 81 after detecting door closing, and also detects an absolute storage amount with the LED lighting device 80 and the cold room optical sensor 81 when the door is not opened during a predetermined time after detecting door closing, capable of appropriately controlling the refrigeration based on the storage amount in the storage room by properly selecting the detection of the change of storage amount in the cold room between the previous time and the present time, and the detection of the absolute storage amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 45
