Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator of high energy-saving performance by suppressing heat transfer between evaporators in stopping a compressor, in the refrigerator in which a refrigerating chamber is disposed at an upper portion of a freezing chamber, and the refrigerating chamber evaporator and a freezing chamber evaporator are connected in series.SOLUTION: A refrigerator which includes a freezing chamber, an evaporator for freezing, to cool the freezing chamber, a refrigerating chamber disposed at a lower portion of the freezing chamber, and an evaporator for refrigerating, to cool the refrigerating chamber, and further includes a freezing cycle in which a compressor, a radiator, pressure reduction means, the evaporator for refrigerating, and the evaporator for freezing are connected by refrigerant pipes, and the evaporator for refrigerating and the evaporator for freezing are connected in series, the pipe connecting the evaporator for refrigerating and the evaporator for freezing is provided with refrigerant circulation suppressing means for suppressing circulation of a refrigerant in stopping the compressor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
