To provide a refrigerator that can secure capacity of a storage chamber and upsize an evaporator at the same time.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 according to an embodiment comprises a refrigeration cycle, and comprises a multi-flow type evaporator 4 constituting the refrigeration cycle and comprising a flattened tube 8 inside which a plurality of flow passages 8a through which a refrigerant flows are formed, and a fan 5 for supplying air to the evaporator 4.
