Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator which is improved in an arrangement in a machine room.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a refrigerator main body; a machine room arranged outside and behind the refrigerator main body; a cooler arranged at the refrigerator main body, and creating cold air for cooling the inside of a storage room; an evaporation saucer arranged in the machine room, and receiving and evaporating defrosting water which is generated by the defrosting of the cooler; a compressor arranged in the machine room, and compressing a refrigerant which is evaporated in the cooler; and a suction pipe for connecting the cooler and the compressor, and making the refrigerant flowing out of the cooler flow to the compressor. The suction pipe has an upstream-side part extending frontward of the machine room while being withdrawn into the machine room in a position shifted to a side opposite to the compressor in a left-and-right direction of the machine room, and also at a position shifted to a back side of the machine room in the machine room, a midstream part connected to the upstream-side part, and extending to the compressor side in the left-and-right direction of the machine room in a position shifted to a front side in a fore-and-aft direction of the machine room, and a downstream-side part connected to the midstream part, extending backward of the machine room, and connected to the compressor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
