Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator that has superior operability and can suppress an unnecessary power consumption increasing and also suppress a touch sensor from deteriorating without spoiling beauty of the refrigerator.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 comprises: an operation region R1 provided on the front of a door 8; detection parts 26b to 30b, 31b, and 47 which are provided in the operation region R1 and detect change in capacitance; operation parts 26 to 30 which are provided in the operation region R1; operation parts 26 to 30 which are provided in a predetermined region in the operation region R1 and receive predetermined operations; a light source 42a for making a display related to operations; and a control part 23 which controls the detection parts 26b to 30b, 31b, and 47, the operation parts 26 to 30, and a light source 42a. In response to detecting an operation to an outer region outside the operation parts 26 to 30, the control part 23 turns on a light source 42a located at a position different from the position where the operation is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
