Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator that allows the inside of a storage chamber to be accurately recognized.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 100 comprises: a refrigerator body 10 comprising a storage chamber comprising an opening closed by a door 1a comprising a plurality of door pockets in a height direction, on a front side, and comprising a plurality of shelves on which stored articles are placed; and a camera unit 50 comprising a light source arranged in an upper part on the front side of the refrigerator body 10, and for irradiating the storage chamber with light from the front side, and a camera arranged outside an irradiation range of the light from the light source, out of the upper part on the front side of the refrigerator body 10, and for imaging the storage chamber from the front side. When the door 1a is opened, at least the shelf in an uppermost stage and the door pocket in an uppermost stage are arranged within the irradiation range of the light from the light source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
