Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator that can improve the function of reducing viruses or bacteria.SOLUTION: A refrigerator according to an embodiment comprises a housing, a cooler, and a light irradiation unit. The housing comprises a storage chamber. The cooler is used to cool the storage chamber. The light irradiation unit irradiates the inside of the storage chamber with light having the effect of reducing viruses or bacteria. The light irradiation unit is arranged inside a cold air passage through which air in the housing flows to return to the cooler. At least a portion of the light irradiation unit faces a return port from which air in the housing enters the cold air passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
