Title:
REFRIGERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3456905
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further silence a switching sound of a switching valve for switching a refrigerant flow route.
SOLUTION: A controller 13 switches a solenoid valve 5 for switching a refrigerant flow route after a refrigerant flows through the valve 5 in a liquid state after a compressor motor 18 is started. Thus, liquid-like refrigerant is operated as a buffer material in the valve 5 to reduce its switching sound. The controller 13 switches the valve 5 after the motor 18 is rotatably driven and a fan motor 22 or an inverter 23 becomes a stable rotational speed. Thus, its switching sound is masked by an operating sound of the compressor and an operating sound of a fan for an evaporator, that is, background sound, thereby obtaining a silencing effect.
