Title:
REFRIGERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3708765
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly decrease operating force required for opening a door and prevent the temperature of a motor-operated door opening unit from rising to abnormal temperature by opening the door by the motor-operated door opening unit against the attracting force of a magnet gasket.
SOLUTION: A refrigerator main body is provided with a motor-operated door opening unit having a solenoid as a driving source. The motor-operated door opening unit exerts opening force on a door to open the door when it is energized. When the door is continuously opened and closed (the motor- operated door opening unit is controlled to be energized), the temperature of the motor-operated door opening unit abruptly rises. When the temperature of the motor-operated door opening unit rises to a previously set temperature (100°C), a control circuit inhibits the operation of the motor-operated door opening unit and controls the motor-operated door opening unit not to operate agasin until the temperature of the motor-operated door opening unit is lowered to a preset allowable temperature (90°C).
