Title:
REFRIGERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3718216
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an efficient weak photoirradiation performed in a vegetable chamber in order to keep freshness of green leaf vegetables, concerning the vegetable chamber in a refrigerator.
SOLUTION: A weak photoirradiation device 26 equipped with a semiconductor light-emitting element 26c for emitting and radiating a light of visible ray region wavelength toward vegetables stored in a storage container 25 is arranged in the vegetable chamber 17. Hereby, when the door 38 of the vegetable chamber is closed, the calorific power is suppressed low and, while suppressing temperature increase in the vegetable chamber 17, a weak photoirradiation effect by decomposition suppression of chlorophyll can be brought to the vegetables, to thereby heighten storability of the vegetables, and to keep nutritious components. When the door 38 of the vegetable chamber is opened, a user can recognize lighting of the weak photoirradiation device 26, and a visual effect of the freshness keeping means can be acquired.
