Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of reducing noise and vibration from a compressor and a machine chamber fan, and improving its heat insulating performance.
SOLUTION: As a vacuum heat insulating material 140 is mounted on a second top face portion 122, a second back face portion 124 or over wall faces adjacent thereto, thereby the noise and vibration generated from the compressor 131 and the machine chamber fan 33 are insulated and damped, and are not transferred to a refrigerating chamber 105, thus the refrigerator can be silenced. Further by preventing heat transfer from the compressor 131 in the machine chamber to the inside of the refrigerator by the heat insulating material 140, the heat insulating performance can be improved, and power consumption can be reduced.
