PURPOSE: To change-over between an ice making machine and an ice cream making machine by a method wherein in the event that an automatic ice cream making device is used, an agitating vane is fixed to a driving device for an automatic ice making device, a container for ice cream manufacturing operation is set and then the driving device is operated.

CONSTITUTION: An automatic ice making device and an automatic ice cream manufacturing device 37 are used under a selection of a user within one refrigerator. A container 33 made of metal such as aluminum for use in manufacturing ice cream mounted in place of an ice storing box of the automatic ice making device has at its upper part an opening and its bottom surface is formed into a curved surface in compliance with a movement lotus of the agitating part of the agitating vane 30. A deep side of a base block of the bottom part is formed with a cold air feeding port 35. Both front sides of it are formed with cold air discharging ports 36. The automatic ice cream manufacturing device 37 is composed of a driving device 13, a frame, the agitating vane 30 and the container 33. Within a freezing chamber 6, it has a discharging port 39 for discharging into an upper opening of an aeration passage container 33 for use in guiding the cold air cooled by a cooling device 8 to the automatic ice making device and the automatic ice cream making device 37, and a discharging port 40 for discharging the cold air toward a base block at the bottom part.
