PURPOSE: To obtain a refrigerator which protects vegetables in a vegetable container from being frozen under the effect of the door opening/closing of a refrigerated chamber and provides a low temperature container located at a convenient spot in a refrigerator where a refrigerated chamber is laid out at the lower part of a partitioning wall.

CONSTITUTION: The interior of a refrigerator formed by an inner box 2 is vertically divided with a partitioning wall 14 and a cooler 17 is housed on the rear side of a refrigerated chamber 15 formed in a lower stage. A low temperature container 19 is laid out on the lowest part of a cold storage chamber 16 formed on an upper stage while a vegetable container 21 is laid out above.
