Abstract:

PURPOSE: To save an installed power, to reduce a building area, and to simplify a duct route, by a method wherein operations, to remove bad smell in a refuse pit, to prevent the exhaust gas from production of white smoke, and to perform draft of the interior of an incinerator chamber, are performed by a single fan.

CONSTITUTION: The air in a refuse pit 1 is sucked through a filter 12 and ducts 24 and 25 with the aid of a fan 23, it is fed to a deodorizing device 27 through a duct 26, and it is exhausted to the open air through ducts 28 and 29. With valves 30, 31, 32, 34 and 35 closed, with valves 36, 37, 39, 40 and 41 opened, and with a fan 23 operated, the air in the chamber is sucked by means of a duct 45, and after the air is increased in temperature through ducts 29, 24, 26 and 44 by means of an air preheater 17, it is fed in an outlet duct 42. Further, the open air, sucked through the duct 29, flows out from a ventilating gallery 43 through the fan 23, and is exhausted to the open air through a roof fan 47 after passing through the space around the air preheater 17.
