Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restrain the fluctuations in combustible dust, and waste gas flow rate and temperature in a secondary combustion chamber by providing a dust collector, a dust storage tank, a powder discharge device and a dust supply pipe on a pipe leading to the secondary combustion chamber.
CONSTITUTION: Waste gas and dust generated from a melting furnace 1 is discharged through a pipe 6 on top of the melting furnace 1. A dust collector 7 is installed on the pipe 6 to collect dust contained in the waste gas. The dust collected is once stored in a storage tank 8, discharged by a discharge device 9 and supplied to a secondary combustion chamber 13 through a dust supply pipe 10. Dust carrier gas is supplied from a carrier gas supply pipe 11. Thereby, the fluctuation in combustible dust dispersing from the melting furnace is restrained.
