Abstract:

PURPOSE: To regenerate easily a fluidized bed catalyst of an Fe-Sb type metallic oxide having decreased activity without interrupting production by adding the fluidized bed catalyst having an enriched molybdenum component to said catalyst and making reaction under mixing of both.

CONSTITUTION: A catalyst having an enriched molybdenum is added to the fluidized bed catalyst of a metallic oxide which has decreased activity after use for oxidation, ammoxidation and oxidation dehydrogenation reaction of an org. compd. in a fluidized bed and contains Fe, Sb and ≥1 kinds among V, Mo and W as well as Te as essential components, then the above-mentioned reaction is effected under mixing of both, whereby the catalyst is easily regenerated. The enriched catalyst is produced by depositing a molybdenum compd. such as MoO2 or the like which has volatility or can be converted to a compd. having volatility in the above-mentioned reaction atmosphere on the fluidized bed catalyst contg. the above-mentioned component elements. The increment in the apparent content of molybdenum to be generated from mixing with the molybdenum enriched catalyst and to be defined by the equation is preferred to be in a 0.01W 2wt% range.
