Abstract:

To establish a method for efficiently regenerating a chelate adsorbing material by a simple method when a metal and/or its quasi metal contained in wastewater, or the like, is treated with the chelate adsorbing material.

When the chelate adsorbing material on which the metal and/or its quasi metal are adsorbed is regenerated in a cylindrical vessel, an acid solution or an alkaline solution is prepared as a regenerating agent, a residual liquid in the cylindrical vessel in which the metal and/or its quasi metal-adsorbed chelate adsorbing material is packed is removed and the regenerating agent is thrown in the residual liquid-removed cylindrical vessel so that the metal and/or its quasi metal adsorbed on the chelate adsorbing material are eluted.
