Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the responsibility of a service brake during the stopping of a re-generative brake, to make the easy regulation of braking force possible and to secure its reliability.
CONSTITUTION: A vehicle regenerative brake device has a brake valve 2 having a nonfunction domain where pressure is not generated in the early function domain of a brake pedal 1, and an auxiliary brake valve 3 which interlocks with the function of the brake pedal 1 to supply pressure fed from an air reservoir 14 even in the nonfunction domain of the brake valve 2, and moreover a limiting and quick release valve 9 which reduces the pressure fed from the air reservoir 14 at a fixed rate by taking the output of the auxiliary brake valve 3 as signal pressure and supplys it, and in addition, double check valves 4,5 to selectively supply the higher one of the outputs of the limiting and quick release valve 9 and of the brake valve 2 to a service brake, a solenoid-operated valve 7 to open and close a signal pressure passage 11 toward the limiting and quick release valve 9, and a controller 10 which detects the function time of the regenerative device 30 to close the solenoid-operated valve 7 in the signal pressure passage 11.
