Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the regerative chopper circuit for the series DC motor which can be regenerated even though said motor is stopped and then started, by connecting a regenerating capacitor to a regenerating device in parallel in the series DC motor. CONSTITUTION:At the time of regenerative braking by which a switch MC is turned OFF, the motor (A, F) operates as a generator, and the power is regenerated to a power source B through a path in the sequence of A SR2 B SR1 F A. The regenerating capacitor C1 is connected to the regenerating device SR2 in parallel so that the regeneration is possible even through the motor is driven by a load after the rotation has stopped once. The C1 is charged through the path in the sequence of B C1 R2 B even though the rotation is topped. Said stored charge is discharged through the path in the sequence of C1 SCR1 F A C1 when a main thyristor CR1 is turned ON. F is conducted and excited through the path in the sequence of B SCR1 F A R2 B. Therefore the regeneration becomes possible.
