To make it possible to prevent the acceleration of wear at a friction area by providing a means which discharges powder or a solid matter generated when contact members are mutually rubbed with the other and moved slidingly in assembling an air supply and exhaust device provided with a valve disk member on a heat exchanger device.
In a regenerative combustion burner which arranges a fuel supply passage 5 and a heat exchanger device 10 in a furnace 1 and places an air supply and exhaust air device 10 with the heat exchanger device 10, notched grooves 50 to 52 are laid out in a valve member provided on the air supply and exhaust air device 20 in a sliding area at which contact members are mutually moving slidingly. A solid product, such as powder is forcibly discharged together with the air passing through the notched grooves 50 to 52 so that acceleration of wear at a friction area due to solid matters produced by wearing is avoided.
